What You ll Do:
- Rounding in ICU, pre and post-cardiac surgery units
- Managing patients coming off ventilators and recovering from cardiac procedures
- Caring for patients emerging from OR with open hearts, VATS, and lung cases
- Assisting with vein harvesting and other operative procedures (experience preferred)
- Monitoring patient progress, vital signs, and post-operative recovery
- Collaborating with surgical and ICU teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
What You Need:
- Active Physician Assistant license in Texas
- Experience in ICU, cardiac surgery, or OR settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex post-op patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
