What You ll Do

• Provide first assist support in adult cardiothoracic surgeries within a dynamic surgical team
• Assist surgeons with complex operative procedures, ensuring patient safety and care quality
• Support staff including surgeons, RNs, and other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and electronic health records management
• Operate advanced surgical equipment, including robotic tools
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices
• Contribute to patient care planning and post-operative management

What You Need

• Active state license required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgical experience, with 1 year as a first assist in CVOR
• Certification in BLS and ACLS
• DEA registration
• Strong skills in adult patient care, complex surgical procedures, and EMR documentation
