Surgical Services Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Exeter, NH Full-Time Evening Shift Monday-Friday No Call, Weekends, or HolidaysA respected surgical services team in Exeter, New Hampshire is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive surgical care across the perioperative continuum.Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Surgical Services APP role
- Evening shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
- No call, weekends, or holidays
- Provide comprehensive surgical care across inpatient, Emergency Department, and Operating Room settings
- Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, ED consults, and first-assist responsibilities in the OR
- Serve as first and second surgical assistant for assigned surgical cases
- Conduct patient rounds and complete progress notes
- Perform comprehensive and episodic health assessments
- Establish differential diagnoses, order and evaluate diagnostic studies, and manage follow-up plans
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with New Hampshire regulations
- Collaborate with surgeons, general and specialty providers, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Participate in quality, efficiency, and process-improvement efforts

- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- 1-3 years of directly related surgical experience required
- New Hampshire license or eligibility
- National certification as an NP or PA required
- NP candidates must have RNFA program completion and OR hours
- PA candidates must have NCCPA certification
- BLS certification required
- Eligibility for medical staff appointment and clinical privileges
- Strong surgical, perioperative, communication, and collaboration skills
