Shift Details
Call-only inpatient coverage
Every weekend from Thursday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM or every other weekend from Thursday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
Beeper call with a 30-minute response time
Call ratio: 1:4
Three phone consultations
Call coverage includes rounding and admissions, with hospitalist admitting

Requirements
Board certified or board eligible
Active Indiana license
BLS certification

Required Procedures / Skills
General surgery
Adult care
Trauma

Assignment Details
Eight patients per shift
15 departmental beds
EMR: Epic
Support staff: Four RNs and one office staff member
Facility Trauma Level: 3
No supervision of advanced practice providers required
No resident or teaching supervision required
