Schedule
- Scheduled + On-Call
- Regular Shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Weeknight Call: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (1 Night Per Week)
- Weekend Call: 6:00 AM 6:00 AM (Rotating)
- Monthly Schedule Provided by Facility

- Cardiothoracic/Cardiac Surgery Operating Room
- Academic Hospital
Work Details
- Adult Patient Population
- Approximately 517 Pump Cases Annually
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff:
- 5 Cardiac Surgeons
- Intensivist
- Responsibilities:
- OR First Assist
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Valve Repair and Replacement (Aortic, Mitral, Tricuspid)
- Ascending Aortic Surgery
- Left Atrial Appendage Exclusion
- Maze Procedures
- Redo Sternotomies
- Mechanical Circulatory Support Procedures (Impella, ECMO Cannulation, IABP Exposure)
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
- Sternotomy Opening and Closure
- Chest Tube and Temporary Pacing Wire Placement
- Equipment:
- Maquet EVH System
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- Missouri License Required (Willing to License)
- BLS Required
- Epic Experience Required
- Trauma Level I Experience Required
- Minimum 2 Years of Independent Adult Cardiac Surgery OR First Assist Experience
- NPs: RNFA Preferred

- Work History Gaps Greater Than 30 Days Must Be Explained
- Background Issues Require First- and Third-Party Documentation
- Providers Working 52 Consecutive Weeks Must Take a Minimum 6-Month Break Before Returning
- Providers May Be Financially Responsible for Equipment Not Returned at the End of the Assignment
- Willing to License Qualified Candidates
