Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Day Shift

Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day Shift: 4x10 Hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with holiday rotation. One weekend shift per 4-week schedule period and up to 4 on-call shifts per month.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will support various surgical specialties including Ortho, Neuro, ENT, and Robotics among others. This role requires a proactive approach to meet the varied surgical needs of our facility.
Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
• Facilitate efficient surgical procedures by anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
• Prepare instruments and equipment required for surgeries.
• Adhere to surgical protocols and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Float between surgical units as necessary to meet operational demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.
• Preferred experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases.
• Current certification from NBSTSA and BLS certification required.
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.
• Must hold a valid South Carolina license or demonstrate proof of application for licensure.
