Job TitleThis position involves a variety of duties related to the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, and automotive vehicles.Key responsibilities include:Troubleshooting, performing maintenance, and major repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.Diagnosing mechanical failures using visual checks, test equipment, and embedded diagnostics.Disassembling and reassembling engines and major assemblies to make necessary repairs and modifications.Performing repairs and maintenance in remote locations, providing technical guidance to lower grade employees.Conducting readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper service and preventive maintenance.Maintaining and repairing electronics communication equipment.Assisting in the maintenance of production reports and records, and making recommendations to the supervisor.Performing other duties as assigned.
