Job TitleUnder supervision of the manager serves as a technician with experience in a professional services environment supporting end-users to the support and maintenance of RTLS and Temperature Management.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide extraordinary customer service for Clinical Engineering department customers applying advanced problem-solving skillsEffectively read and analyze various reports and communicate interpretation and analysis with co-workers and/or leadershipMaintain proper inventory of batteries and other equipment necessary for device maintenance to include infrastructure asset tags environmental monitoring (EM) sensors devices temperature sensors etc. regularly performing battery replacement for any necessary equipment and devicesPerform small installations of infrastructure devices maintaining and validating information in system softwarePick up and deliver equipment to floors within department and hospital.Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints identifying solutions and suggesting improved methods/techniques.Coordinates with remote support personnel to troubleshoot problematic areasDocument daily activities findings and recommendations.Monitor equipment status and alerts via the system applications.Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applicationsComfortable navigating all areas of the hospital system including patient roomsComfortable occasionally working around or with potential biological hazards; proper personal protective equipment will be worn in accordance with medical center policy and proceduresAbility to understand the designs with regards to device location within the hospitalBe a department steward by answering phone door communicating with internal and external customersMinimal QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required orVocational/Technical Diploma in Electronics preferredExperience1-2 years Experience in data entry required1-2 years Experience in healthcare setting preferredOne year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge using desktop computers MS officeRequired to climb and stand on ladders sometimes for extended periods of timeRequired to work with tools while reaching above your head for extended periods of timeThis position has a hiring range of USD $23.65 - USD $42.03 /Hr.
