IT Technician (Support Technician II)Location: Onsite - Austin, TXContract OpportunityRate: $30.00hrWe are seeking an experienced IT Technician to support inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations for a large enterprise IT environment. This role is responsible for managing incoming technology equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring hardware is stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently.Responsibilities:Receive and process IT equipment and shipments, verifying deliveries against purchase orders.Identify, document, and report inventory discrepancies.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient IT depot and storage area.Track, organize, and manage hardware inventory using spreadsheets and inventory management tools.Coordinate with warehouse and support teams regarding equipment storage and distribution.Pull, package, and ship equipment for internal IT teams as needed.Maintain accountability for the location and status of inventory assets.Support general depot operations and inventory audits.Qualifications:4+ years of inventory management experience.4+ years of experience using computers, spreadsheets, and business applications.Experience with inventory tracking systems and asset management processes.Understanding of IT hardware, equipment, and technology systems.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and train others when needed.Capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.If you have a strong background in inventory control, IT asset management, and warehouse operations, we'd love to hear from you.
