A support teacher in a child care center plays a flexible, assisting role to ensure classrooms run smoothly and children are well cared for. Their duties often include:

  1. Assisting Lead Teachers

Help implement lesson plans and daily activities

Support classroom management and transitions (meals, naps, playtime)

Step in when the lead teacher is unavailable

  1. Supervising Children

Ensure children’s safety at all times

Monitor behavior and guide positive interactions
