Support Staff

Taqueria Xochi is a casual Mexican restaurant inspired by the street food and flavors of Mexico City. We are looking for dependable, energetic team members who want to learn hospitality and contribute to a fast-paced restaurant environment.

This position primarily includes running food, bussing and resetting tables, restocking supplies, maintaining clean service areas, and supporting servers and bartenders.

Previous restaurant experience is not required. We are willing to train someone who is responsible, hardworking, attentive, and ready to contribute to the team.

• Deliver food quickly, accurately, and with care.
• Learn menu items and correctly identify each dish.
• Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables.
• Assist with water, salsas, utensils, napkins, and other guest needs.
• Restock service stations, glassware, ice, and supplies.
• Keep the dining room, bar support areas, patio, and service stations clean.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH team.
• Support servers and bartenders throughout service.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities.
• Notice what needs to be done and assist without always waiting for direction.

• No previous restaurant experience is required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work quickly with a strong sense of urgency.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to help in all areas.
• Takes initiative and stays productive during slower periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Familiarity with Mexican food is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Nighttime availability is required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Full availability on Sundays is required.
• Holiday availability may be required.
