Support StaffSteingold's Of Chicago in Chicago, IL is looking for a Support Staff Specialists to join our team Friday through Tuesday.Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, available on weekends, and reliable.Responsibilities:Wrap or plate food as it comes out of the kitchenHave full understanding of priorities and surroundings during slow and busy momentsMaintain a clean and tidy work area with consideration of your coworkersFollow health and safety guidelinesInteract with customers regularly and professionallyAbility to read and make tickets while working a BOH station.Set up and break down your stationComplete all necessary prep for your stationCook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffRead and execute dishes based on ticketsQualifications:Proven working experience in fast casual environment preferredHigh integrity with a great attendance recordStrong attention to detailAbility to listen and communicate effectivelyCooking experience or Back of the House experience is mandatoryAble to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needsThis Position is a hybrid between Front of House and Back of House, the shifts will be split depending on the day between helping the FOH team in the kitchen and working a Station for the Back of House.Ideal candidate:A real passion for food- how it's made, how it's served, and how it's enjoyedClear communication to customers and staff membersKnows how to diffuse situations when mistakes are madeMultitasking while maintaining accuracyAbility to move with a sense of urgencyAble to see the bigger picture and prioritize certain duties during servicePerks:Coffee!Bagels!Food discounts on and off shift!Working with a great group of people ready to come together and grow as a teamSend an email with your resume and a brief explanation about why you would be a good fit along with your availability.
