Providing trauma-informed support, the part-time NSAH Support Specialist will deliver high-quality assistance to users of the National Sexual Assault Hotline during evening shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, while working remotely. Key responsibilities Answer inbound crisis-intervention calls and online chats, offering compassionate support and appropriate referrals Utilize crisis intervention best practices and maintain knowledge of the specific needs of hotline users Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and assist in quality assurance efforts Required qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in social services, customer service, or direct client support/crisis intervention Fluency in English; Spanish fluency may be required for certain roles Proficiency in Google Workspace applications Ability to pass a typing test with a minimum score of 35 WPM Must be comfortable discussing issues surrounding sexual violence
