Support Services Manager | Mobile, AL
Fit Recruiting is seeking a Support Services Manager for a residential program that helps families move toward stable, independent living. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with people and keeping a busy program running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Welcome new families and explain program guidelines, schedules, and available resources
Coordinate life skills activities focused on parenting, daily routines, and independent living
Help residents access meals, linens, hygiene items, and other essentials
Check apartments and shared spaces for safety and maintenance needs
Track donations, coordinate repairs, and keep program records organized
Respond to resident concerns and connect callers with appropriate resources
Requirements:
~1–2 years of experience in housing, shelter, social services, or a nonprofit setting
~ A calm, practical approach to difficult situations
~ Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
~ A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a 15-passenger van when needed
~ An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
Schedule: Full-time, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
