Junior Achievement of Greater Washington's mission is to accelerate economic mobility for our region's youth.
Junior Achievement Finance Park is a hands-on financial literacy experience that teaches middle school students the basics of personal finance. Students are given a simulated budget and are tasked with making financial decisions. The program is designed to help students develop the skills they need to make sound financial decisions in the real world.
Volunteers age 18 and older make an impact by sharing their real world experiences and by guiding small groups of students through the budgeting simulation. These opportunities are held during the school week and during school hours.
