Oak Park OWL delivers comprehensive, inclusive sexuality education to youth and their families. We use secular, values-based curricula to provide age-appropriate classes, trainings and workshops. We are looking for volunteers to help us with:
- Classroom Assistant : assist facilitators in the classroom by setting up materials, helping students stay on task, and organizing the room after the end of class.
- Assistants must complete a background check
- Class times are 2:45 - 4:30 or 5:15-7:45pm
- Classes are on Sunday afternoon and evening, beginning January 21st, 2024
- Commit to 8-12 sessions
- Front Desk Assistant : buzz in students, sit at the desk during class, make sure all students leave with their caregiver after class
- Front desk shifts are from 2:45 - 4:30 and5:15-7:45pm
- Commit to at least 3 shifts
- Events
- Help organize online classes- this can be a remote position
- Attend outreach events
- Marketing
- Write newsletter and social media content. Create and distribute flyers via email. This is an ongoing remote position.
