Supply Planning ManagerLocations: Hodgkins, IL | Holyoke, MA | Charlotte, NCPosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced Supply Planning Manager to lead supply planning, inventory management, and cross-functional planning activities across our North American operations. This role is responsible for balancing demand, supply, inventory, and capacity to ensure strong customer service, efficient inventory investment, and operational performance.Key Responsibilities:Supply Planning & Inventory ManagementDevelop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans.Manage inventory levels to meet service, cost, and working capital goals.Balance supply and demand through capacity planning and inventory optimization.Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and excess inventory.Lead monthly Supply Review meetings as part of the IBP/S&OP process.Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Demand Planning, and Commercial teams.Analytics & Performance ManagementAnalyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.Conduct scenario planning, capacity analysis, and inventory optimization.Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Excel.Monitor key KPIs including: Inventory Turns Days of Supply (DOS) Service Levels / Fill Rate Forecast Accuracy Capacity Utilization Inventory Health Backorders and StockoutsDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning efficiency and performance.Leadership & CollaborationLead cross-functional planning activities and process improvements.Promote planning best practices, governance, and standard processes.Support strategic initiatives including product launches, network optimization, and supply chain transformation projects.Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Planning.Experience with IBP, S&OP, or Integrated Planning processes.Preferred:3+ years of leadership or people management experience.Experience in manufacturing, packaging, industrial products, chemicals, or consumer goods.Master's degree (MBA or related field).APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD).Technical Skills:Planning Systems SAP IBP SAP APO Oracle OMP ERP and Advanced Planning SystemsAnalytics & Reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Data Modeling) Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik SQLPreferred Python or R Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning AI-driven Supply Chain Planning toolsKey Competencies:Supply Chain PlanningInventory OptimizationS&OP / IBPData-Driven Decision MakingStrategic ThinkingProblem SolvingCross-Functional LeadershipContinuous ImprovementProject ManagementSuccess in This Role:Within the first year, you will: Improve service levels while maintaining inventory targets.Reduce excess and obsolete inventory.Increase planning efficiency through analytics and automation.Improve supply plan adherence and capacity utilization.Strengthen IBP/S&OP effectiveness and decision quality.Requisition id: 55469 Relocation: NoSealed Air is committed to attracting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects the diversity of the communities and customers we serve.
