Supply Planning ManagerA global leader in advanced semiconductor and photonics technology is seeking a Supply Planning Manager to lead end-to-end production and supply planning across complex manufacturing operations.This leadership role is responsible for translating customer demand into executable manufacturing plans while balancing capacity, materials, inventory, and operational constraints. The Supply Planning Manager will oversee a team of planners, drive supply-demand alignment, and serve as a key contributor to the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, manufacturing planning expertise, and leadership experience within semiconductor or complex manufacturing environments. This person will play a critical role in ensuring delivery performance, managing operational risks, and supporting business growth in a rapidly evolving technology market.Key responsibilities include:Leading end-to-end production and supply planning activities across manufacturing operationsDeveloping and executing production plans that balance customer demand, factory capacity, inventory, and material availabilityDriving weekly supply-demand reviews and communicating risks, constraints, and mitigation plans to leadershipServing as a key participant in the SIOP process, translating business priorities into actionable manufacturing plansManaging and developing a team of supply and production planning professionalsPartnering closely with Operations, Demand Planning, Program Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing leadershipMonitoring capacity utilization and identifying bottlenecks that could impact delivery performanceUtilizing ERP and MRP systems to support scheduling, planning, forecasting, and inventory management activitiesCoordinating planning activities across internal manufacturing sites and external manufacturing partnersDeveloping reporting, metrics, and planning analytics to improve visibility and decision-makingDriving process improvements that strengthen planning accuracy, execution discipline, and operational performancePresenting supply plans, risks, trade-offs, and allocation strategies to business leadership on a regular basisRequired qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field7+ years of production planning, supply planning, or manufacturing planning experience3+ years of leadership or people management experienceStrong ERP, MRP, scheduling, and capacity planning experienceExperience participating in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or SIOP processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to organize, analyze, and present complex operational data in a structured mannerExperience working cross-functionally within manufacturing environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred qualifications include:Semiconductor manufacturing experience strongly preferredExperience supporting wafer fabrication, assembly, test, or advanced manufacturing operationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related disciplineExperience managing supply planning across both internal factories and contract manufacturing partnersKnowledge of factory flow management, production constraints, and manufacturing execution processesExposure to silicon, InP, GaAs, GaN, or related semiconductor technologiesAPICS or other supply chain certifications are a plusThe ideal candidate is a highly analytical planning leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments where priorities can shift quickly.This person understands how to convert changing demand signals into practical execution plans while balancing capacity, inventory, customer commitments, and operational realities.
