Supply Delivery Driver

Logistics Support Role

The key role of this position is to provide support to Logistics Manager, in the manner of parts/supply delivery to JD Young customers around the Tulsa area in a company vehicle.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pulling & delivery of customer supply orders.
• Unpacking vendor shipments & restocking of main warehouse.
• Daily interaction with Customer Service to ensure accurate & timely supply deliveries.
• Pick up and returning of supplies due to order errors, shipping damage etc.
• Shipping customer orders via UPS and other shipping methods.
• Delivery & pickup of US & interoffice mail from post office and JD Young facilities.
• Rush delivery of supplies or parts.
• Work in conjunction with manager to control inventory levels & loss.
• Includes reporting and researching inventory discrepancies.
• Controlling supply cost by helping monitor usage/sale trends.
• Tracking overages and shortages from vendors.
• Monitor supply delivery truck for maintenance.
• Back up Supply Clerk.
• Backup equipment delivery personnel.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Must be a team player and show initiative. This individual must demonstrate, without question, customer service skills, detailed oriented, and possess the ability to concentrate on quality of service, outstanding driving record and a professional appearance. This position requires daily lifting of boxes of parts/supplies with assistance weighing up to 100lbs with assistance and individually up to 75lbs. alone. Requires stooping and bending periodically throughout the days work responsibilities. Hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Overtime is sometimes required outside of the normal business hours & days.
