Supply Chain Sustainability SpecialistThe Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist supports the development, coordination, and execution of supplier sustainability programs and cross-functional initiatives across Weatherford's value chain. This role partners with internal stakeholders to support supplier engagement, ESG reporting, data management, risk assessment, and continuous improvement activities, while helping integrate sustainability considerations into supply chain processes and align initiatives with business objectives and performance goals.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate supplier governance processes, controls, and sustainability activities to support reporting, compliance, and business commitmentsBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support alignment on sustainability priorities and program goalsSupport initiatives that advance value chain climate goals and continuous improvement plansManage assigned supplier sustainability and risk management activities, including action tracking, deliverables, timelines, and mitigation follow-upImplement supply chain sustainability processes and solutions aligned with business prioritiesSupport sustainability metrics, programs, and regulatory requirements using recognized frameworks, including GHG Protocol, GRI, ISO, CSRD, CSDDD, and SEC requirementsImprove data collection, reporting processes, and performance tracking across functions and geographiesSupport management efforts by communicating priorities clearly and promoting adoption of new processes and practicesSupport implementation and monitoring of supply chain sustainability regulations, including EU Green Deal requirements such as CBAM and EUDR, while maintaining complete and accurate dataCoordinate stakeholder communication, project rollout, and change adoption across business units, manufacturing, and operational locationsSupport sustainability-related cost planning, financial impact assessments, and value creation opportunities across supply chain projects and programsEnsure sustainability activities align with HSE performance expectations and management system requirementsMaintain compliance with company policies, governance standards, applicable laws, and industry practicesParticipate in relevant internal and external sustainability forums and contribute to program updates, business cases, and stakeholder communications.Skills / Education2–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, supplier management, sustainability, ESG reporting, or a related fieldBachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, finance, business, economics, engineering, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field; or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and methodologies, such as GHG Protocol, GRI, ISO, CSRD, CSDDD, and SEC requirementsAbility to manage assigned workstreams and communicate updates to internal stakeholdersStrong project coordination, organization, and follow-through skillsStrong collaboration and written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing deliverables in a collaborative environmentAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of supply chain sustainability practices and business intelligence conceptsExperience with supply chain diversity, human rights, or social impact programsFamiliarity with third-party supplier risk platforms such as Sphera, HICX, Avetta, or ISNExposure to sustainability-related contract language is a plusExposure to environmental, HSE, or sustainability reporting is a plusExposure to external assurance or audit support activities is a plusKnowledge of risk assessment, management, and monitoring practicesExperience supporting development of processes and controls is preferredSecond language proficiency in one of Weatherford's core languagesStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationshipsStrong presentation and facilitation skills, including communication with large groupsDetail-oriented, with experience reviewing and summarizing technical informationAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and travel as neededAbout UsWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
