Supply Chain Specialist

Logistics:

• 5 days a week on-site in Monroe, OH
• 6-month contract to hire

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with buying, purchasing, and vendor negotiations
• 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and the purchasing lifecycle
• Experience working with ERP systems and maintaining accurate procurement data
• Strong vendor management and relationship-building skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
• Experience supporting the construction, manufacturing, industrial, or equipment sector
• Experience preparing or supporting bidding documentation
• Experience with supply chain forecasting and budgeting
• Experience analyzing industry and demand trends
• Spanish-language proficiency

Job Description:

An employer is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support the procurement of materials and equipment for a leading construction organization. This individual will manage purchase orders, source and evaluate vendors, coordinate deliveries, maintain accurate ERP data, support bidding activities, and help ensure project teams receive the materials and equipment they need on time. The ideal candidate has strong purchasing and negotiation experience, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to balance cost, quality, availability, and delivery requirements. This person will work closely with vendors, customers, project teams, and other supply chain personnel throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Compensation:

$24/hr to $30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
