Supply Chain Project ManagerThe primary function of this role is to lead/participate in a range of Supply Chain and related projects for External Manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include coordinating activities and managing teams engaged in the planning, project management, and execution of supply chain projects.
The role also requires participation as needed in External Manufacturing projects as the Supply Chain lead. This position involves creating detailed project work plans, identifying resources, managing day-to-day operational aspects, and holding regular meetings with the project team to communicate relevant status, issues, and potential problems to all stakeholders. Effective application of project management methodologies and enforcement of project standards are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, the role requires engagement with Third Party Alliance partners to ensure integration of partner requirements into ExM operations.Required competencies include excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, the ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and the capacity to create and maintain strong working relationships within the client organization and externally with trade partners, customers, and suppliers.
The role demands the ability to work with diverse groups and organizations.Required qualifications include a BS/BA degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, 5+ years of experience in a supply chain environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, and a basic understanding of business-specific organizations functions and support systems. Knowledge of end-to-end processes in forecasting, product planning, order fulfillment, and procurement is also necessary.
Experience in working within a global and culturally diverse organization is required.
