OR CoordinatorThe OR Materials Coordinator is responsible for the requisitioning, receiving, and stocking of supplies for the OR, Anesthesia and Post-Operative Care Environment as well as other areas as assigned. Some of the major job functions include but are not limited to:Establishes monitors and adjusts par levels based on product utilization to facilitate the hospital's standards of patient care while functioning within financial constraints.Initiates orders for non-stock supplies to include order entry, transmission, confirmation, labeling (patient-chargeable items) and delivery of received items to the departments.Processes inventory requisitions to include acquisition, delivery, and restocking.Communicates with Finance to rectify purchasing/invoicing discrepancies.Confers with the Manager of Supply Chain, OR Supervisor, and the Director of Surgical Services to assist with potential cost-saving and quality improvement options.Assists OR staff with product research/sample procurement, under the direction of the OR Supervisor.Performs all stocking duties associated with OR supplies, instruments, etc.Performs other materials management functions as requested by the OR Supervisor.Maintains annual safety and infection control in-services in addition to educational contact hours to meet requirements.The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.The base compensation range for this role is $19.75 - $31.82 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
