Supply Chain ManagerAlloy Engineering (Berea) and Mach3 Machining (Cuyahoga Falls) are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, inventory management, material planning, and supplier performance across both businesses. This is a hands on, highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and offers the opportunity to drive operational performance, improve cash flow, and support on-time delivery for complex manufacturing operations.This position is ideal for a hands-on supply chain leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with operations, production, engineering, and suppliers to solve problems and improve results.Procurement & Supplier ManagementLead sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, specialty alloys, and production suppliesBuild and strengthen supplier partnerships while negotiating pricing, lead times, and service agreementsManage outside processing suppliers, including heat treat, coating, machining, and inspection servicesDevelop secondary sourcing strategies to reduce risk and improve supply chain reliabilityOversee MRO purchasing and supplier performance initiativesInventory & Working Capital ManagementOptimize inventory levels while supporting production requirementsReduce excess and obsolete inventoryImprove inventory accuracy, material availability, and inventory turnsSupport company cash flow objectives through strategic purchasing decisionsPlanning & OperationsLead material planning and MRP activities across Alloy Engineering and Mach3Coordinate material flow between facilitiesEnsure material traceability and inventory accuracyPartner with operations leadership to align purchasing strategy with production schedulesEvaluate make-versus-buy opportunities to improve efficiency and profitabilityLeadershipLead and develop a team of purchasing professionals and MRO personnelEstablish clear performance expectations, metrics, and accountabilityDrive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operationsCreate visibility into key performance indicators including supplier performance, inventory, and delivery metricsRequirements7+ years of supply chain, purchasing, procurement, materials management, or operations experience in manufacturing environmentsExperience within fabrication, machining, metals, and industrial manufacturingStrong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, supplier negotiations, MRP/ERP systems, and production planningProven leadership experience managing purchasing or supply chain teamsAbility to balance strategic planning with day-to-day executionStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience sourcing metals, specialty alloys, or industrial manufacturing materialsExperience managing outside processing suppliersLean manufacturing or continuous improvement experienceMulti-site manufacturing experience: work schedule: 3 days at Alloy Engineering, 1 day at Mach3 and remote 1 dayCore ValuesDo Right Always!Customer Centric TeamworkGet it Done!
