Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Salary: $65,000 $75,000 per year

A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist to support its growing operations team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can quickly learn new processes, analyze operational data, and independently manage supply chain and inventory-related priorities.

The position is primarily onsite at the company’s Woodridge office, with occasional meetings at its nearby Lemont manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
• Support daily supply chain, inventory control, and production-planning activities
• Monitor inventory levels and help ensure materials are available when needed
• Analyze inventory and operational data to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate information within the company’s ERP system
• Use Excel to prepare reports, analyze trends, and support operational decisions
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve material or scheduling issues
• Help improve inventory accuracy, workflow, and operational efficiency
• Participate in occasional supplier audits and site visits

Qualifications
• Experience in supply chain, inventory control, production planning, or a related operational role
• Strong inventory-management and analytical skills
• Experience using an ERP system
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and independent problem-solving ability
• Able to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Automotive industry experience is not required

Travel
• Occasional same-day travel to supplier locations
• Possible overnight travel approximately one or two times per year
