Job TitleResponsibilities:Drive and manage supplier performanceProvide technical assistance to suppliers with a focus on improving unhealthy production systems and resolving abnormal production processes.Support supplier development efforts to ensure adequate performance, capacity, and flexibility throughout the supply chain.Analyze supplier capacity and investment requests.Assess supplier weaknesses and implement corrective actions.Monitor high-risk suppliers to prevent operational disruptions.Lead problem-solving initiatives and drive operational excellence at supplier sites.Collaborate with internal teams and global counterparts to share knowledge and best practices.Support resourcing activities when necessary to mitigate supply chain risks.Represent the purchasing organization at supplier sites and escalate issues as needed.Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management required.Lean Six SigmaExperience in supply chain quality, production, or supplier development.Preferred background in the automotive or heavy commercial vehicle industry.Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Proven ability to manage projects independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to meeting internal and external expectations.Willingness to travel on short notice as needed.
