Role and Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to qualifying students
- Act as substitute teacher when required
- Assist students at arrival and dismissal
- Assist teacher with large and small group activities
- Assist with proctoring of tests and assessments
- Maintain logs as directed by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma
- Must meet the Highly Qualified Standards for Paraprofessionals as defined by No Child Left Behind
- Minimum of 60 credit hours or associate's degree from accredited college.
- Passing score on state approved assessment.
- Previous experience working with school aged children in an educational setting preferred.
- Ability to obtain substitute permit under MCL
