Job TitleHigh Top Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level Not Specified Salary Not SpecifiedJob DescriptionDutiesEnsure that Marine Corps units are equipped, trained, and prepared to execute their missions in support of naval and joint objectives.Serve as a key advisor to the Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (COMMARFORPAC), providing recommendations on the employment of Marine Corps forces in maritime and amphibious operations.Develop plans and provide logistics and administrative support to subordinate forces/personnel.Determine budget status and track compliance with higher headquarters (HHQ) policies and directives.Directly supervise five general and special staff assistants at a major command headquarters, i.e., 1 O-4, 1 GS-14, and 3 GS-13s.Translate Sub-Unified Command intent into policies and orders.Track personnel, equipment, and logistics readiness status.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.
