Supervisory Management And Program Analyst Duties

If you are selected as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, your responsibilities would include, but would not be limited to:

  1. Establishing internal procedures to secure adequate control in terms of deadlines, progress reports, directives, and uses own initiative in developing procedures, which will increase the general flow of information and overcome bottlenecks in the administrative process.
  2. Directing testing and training of personnel on new automated forms and provides recommendations for improvements.
  3. Coordinating assigned functions with managers/supervisors to discuss work-related changes affecting their organization and providing recommendations on possible implementations; directives and policy documents to appropriate stakeholders and coordinates further discussions of proposed policies as needed.
  4. Disseminating proposed revisions to directives and policy documents to appropriate stakeholders and coordinates further discussions of proposed policies as needed.
  5. Researching policy and OIG documents for historical responses and tracks the OIG's response.
  6. Updating OIG leadership Org Charts and coordinates with the Office of Communications to post updates to the OIG external web site. Maintains a variety of databases to store management information that is useful in making agency decisions and for inclusion into reports submitted to various levels of agency management.
  7. Developing and establishing performance standards, and evaluates employee performance, mentors, develops and recognizes employees. Interviews and selects candidates for subordinate positions.
  8. Acting as Chair for the OIG's Administrative Officer meetings for cross-divisional collaboration.
  9. Advising staff of changes in assignments, which affect the completeness and efficiency of the assignment and/or project.
