Position Description
You will serve as the Branch Manager (Level 4), in the Training Systems Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Department (GT5) of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering and technical branch, managing personnel actions, evaluating performance, and driving team productivity to achieve mission milestones.
- You will direct the technical planning, development, acquisition, and life-cycle support of complex simulator and training systems utilized for operational readiness.
- You will serve as a senior technical authority, conducting specialized studies to advise executive leadership on policy, technical processes, and strategic program improvements.
- You will evaluate engineering competency processes, identify training gaps, and implement development strategies for senior-level technical staff.
- You will manage branch resources to optimize efficiency, and oversee compliance with federal policies, including internal controls, safety, and equal opportunity standards.
