SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT

This position serves as Supervisory Accountant in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, the premier security enterprise for the Department of War. You will lead a team in the implementation of financial procedures, systems, and controls; analysis, reconciliation, and correction of financial activity and systems; and interface with DFAS in support of audit compliant financial statements and informed management decision-making.

• Telework Eligibility: Supervisors may approve situational telework on a case-case, temporary basis for limited situations.
• If selected, the incumbent must obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance as indicated in job announcement.
• In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction , "Operation of the DoD Financial Management Certification Program," this position requires a Level 3 Certification
• under the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program as a condition of employment.
• If he or she is not already certified at this level, the incumbent of this position must obtain this certification within two (2) years of entry on duty into this FM position.
• Once certified, the incumbent must meet the continuing education training requirement as outlined in DoDI .
