You'll serve as the key point of contact for purchasing activities, managing supplier relationships and driving operational excellence. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you'll optimize procurement processes, coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of materials to support business operations. This role offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Requirements:Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or related fieldPreferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fieldAPICS certification (CPIM, CIRM, CSCP) preferredLean/Six Sigma certification preferredExperience leading and developing teams of 4-7 direct reports preferredStrong ERP system knowledge, with SAP/AS400 experience preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelExperience with data mining tools (SQL, Cognos) preferredProven experience in supplier relationship management and negotiationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision makingExperience implementing process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder managementAbility to adapt in a dynamic environment while managing multiple prioritiesStrong customer service orientation and commitment to operational excellenceExperience conducting business reviews and developing performance improvement plansDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a matrix organizationFluency in English required; additional language skills beneficialStrong project management and organizational skillsProven ability to achieve measurable results
