The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.Where You Come InYou will report to the Planning ManagerYou will lead and develop a team of buyers, providing direction, coaching, and performance managementYou will maintain a strong pulse on supplier performance, market conditions, and material risksYou will own purchasing execution, supplier management strategy, and procurement processes across the value streamYou will drive cross-functional alignment with Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, and Engineering to ensure material availability and continuityYou will oversee procurement activities including purchase order execution, expediting, and supplier communicationYou will lead tiered procurement and supplier review meetings across multiple levels of the organization, ensuring clear communication and issue resolutionYou will establish, monitor, and improve purchasing processes, systems, and standard workWhat Makes You SuccessfulYou leverage demand signals, MRP, and planning inputs to execute effective and timely purchasing decisionsYou ensure purchase orders are placed, confirmed, and managed to meet production and inventory requirementsYou balance supplier capacity, lead times, and cost considerations to maintain continuity of supplyYou collaborate with site leadership and planning teams to align procurement priorities with business needsYou are accountable for supplier delivery performance, material availability, and shortage mitigationYou drive inventory health through alignment with planning on safety stock, lot sizing, and replenishment strategiesYou proactively manage supplier risk, including escalation, recovery plans, and alternate sourcing strategiesYou establish and track key procurement metrics (on-time delivery, supplier quality, lead time adherence, cost performance) and communicate results clearlyYou deliver insights through reporting and analytics to support strategic sourcing and operational decisionsYou communicate supplier constraints, risks, and recovery plans clearly and concisely through presentations, dashboards, and written communicationWhat You'll GetA front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
