This role focuses on leadership, process improvement, quality, safety, and meeting production deadlines.Core ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate effective leadership, provide guidance, and ensure team objectives are met.Take charge of team performance and address issues promptly.Establish work procedures, create schedules, and streamline workflow.Maintain expertise in production-planning systems.Supervise and oversee quality control, including inspection reporting, engineering deviations, and quality program training.Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and uphold safety standards.Participate in or assist with hands-on manufacturing tasks as necessary.Develop process plans encompassing personnel, resources, equipment, and layout for each customer order.Collaborate with planning teams to meet shipping deadlines and adjust staffing levels, including overtime, to meet demand.Suggest and implement enhancements to production processes, equipment performance, and product quality.Initiate and maintain 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and other continuous-improvement initiatives.Promote cross-training to enhance workforce versatility.Analyze and resolve work-related issues while fostering a positive team environment.Effectively communicate changes and support organizational objectives and values.Required QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination.Experience in a quality environment certified by ISO.
