If you join our team, they will.ResponsibilitiesWe are a 2 OR facility that provides orthopaedic, pain management, podiatry, laparoscopic, general, and GYN services. We work together, helping and supporting one another to make our Facilities, Departments, and all of SCA successful.Coordinate the daily operations of the OR and supervises the OR Technical Teams and Purchasing Coordinator to ensure a smooth operation of daily activities, to provide quality patient care, and an efficient working environment for physicians.

Responsible for ensuring an adequate store of inventory for use in the facility, control and reduce inventory expense, and coordinate with AP Clerk on accounts payable functions.Primary Position ResponsibilitiesEnsures adequate technical and clinical team coverage to meet scheduled casesEnsures necessary supplies and equipment availableEfficiently solves problems that may arise in the OR throughout the dayIn collaboration with the Purchasing Coordinator, meets with sales representatives to discuss and negotiate pricing for equipment, supplies, and maintenanceProvides oversight for clinical log updatingAssists the Administrator and Director of Nursing in meeting all regulatory compliance issuesCoordinates and provides training/orientation for new teammatesResponsible for continuing education in-services for current team mates within his/her chargeDemonstrates the importance of continuing education to the performance of facility responsibilities and growth in profession.Attends and participates in team meetings and in-service programsDemonstrates competency in performing job task and operating equipment on an annual basisAttends professional training seminars related to job development and educationSecondary Position ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with Director of Nursing to make sure that all OR's team mates core competencies are reviewed and met on a yearly basisParticipates in budget preparation and evaluation of clinical equipment purchasesPerforms all other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsLicenses or Certificates:Active RN (nursing) licenseCurrent BLS certificationEducation, vocational training and experience5 years experience as an operating room (OR) nurseSupervisory experience preferredStrong working knowledge of day to day OR operationsUSD $85,000.00/Yr. USD $105,000.00/Yr.
