Supervisor of Special Services
The District is seeking a dynamic and experienced educational leader to serve as Supervisor of Special Education. The successful candidate will provide leadership, supervision, and support for special education programs and services while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include supervising special education staff, supporting effective instructional practices, overseeing student programming and services, collaborating with administrators, teachers, and families, and promoting an inclusive educational environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
- New Jersey Supervisor Certificate required
- Special Education certification required
- Prior administrative/supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations, including IDEA and NJ special education requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
