Supervisor, Logistics Loading

Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design, initially focused on golf cars and then expanding to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation.GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Logistics Loading Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily outbound loading operations to ensure shipments are completed safely, accurately, and on time. This role leads a team of loading associates, coordinates with production, transportation, and planning teams, and drives efficiency, quality, and safety within the shipping function.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESSupervise Daily OperationsOversee all loading activities to ensure timely and accurate shipment of finished goodsMonitor workload, staffing, and dock schedules to meet shipping deadlinesCoordinate priorities with production, planning, and logistics teamsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a team of hourly logistics/loading associatesProvide clear direction, training, and performance feedbackSupport attendance management, productivity tracking, and engagement initiativesSafety & ComplianceEnforce all safety policies and procedures (OSHA, company standards)Conduct routine safety audits and address hazards promptlyEnsure proper material handling, loading techniques, and equipment usageQuality & AccuracyEnsure shipments are loaded correctly and match shipping documentationInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or shipment errorsMaintain inventory integrity during the loading processProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve loading efficiency and reduce delaysSupport continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, standard work)Track KPIs such as on-time shipping, accuracy, and productivityCross-Functional CoordinationPartner with transportation carriers, warehouse teams, and productionCommunicate delays, issues, and priorities proactivelyEnsure alignment between shipping schedules and customer requirementsOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOBHigh school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping operations 1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume distribution environment strongly preferred Strong understanding of shipping processes, inventory control, and material handlingPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP, Oracle, or WMS systems Lean / Six Sigma exposureKEY COMPETENCIESLeadership and team development Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Effective communication across teams and leadership levels Data-driven mindset with focus on metrics and continuous improvement Proficiency in warehouse systems or ERP platformsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSRequires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed. Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.This position may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch as needed.Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Club Car is a diverse and inclusive environment.
