Harris Health is seeking a Supervisor, Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital . In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care while utilizing advanced interventional radiology equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Working the day shift , you will perform specialized imaging procedures, ensure the safe operation of IR equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. - Education :
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Licensure/Certification :
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board
- Current CPR certification
- ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography certification preferred
- Interventional Radiology (IR) certification preferred
- Experience :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Communication Skills :
- Above Average Verbal (heavy public contact)
- Strong written communication (correspondence and reports)
- Technical Skills :
- Analytical skills
- Computer proficiency
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Equipment Knowledge :

- PACS and RIS systems
