DESCRIPTION:
The Nassau BOCES Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology is seeking a Supervisor II to support Instructional Software Service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

DESCRIPTION:
The Nassau BOCES Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology is seeking a Supervisor II to support Instructional Software Service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Use databases to manage the purchasing of instructional software by school districts.
- Provide email and phone support to component school districts and building administrators, teachers and clerical staff.
- Identify and manage instructional software purchases by school districts.
- Oversee the planning of marketing events and user groups with vendors.
- Arrange and attend instructional software events.
- Work with various vendors on purchasing agreements.
- Coordinate use of state-wide purchasing agreements.
- Coordinate with BOCES representatives from other BOCES throughout New York State.
- New York State Education Department Certification: School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA).
- Excellent managerial, interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills.
- Experience with instructional technology and applications.
- Administrative experience and at least three years of teaching experience.
- Ability to travel within New York State.
