I'm working with a growing general contractor looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their Arizona team. We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on light industrial projects in Arizona — the bread-and-butter work is tilt-up construction, including FedEx distribution facilities and similar large-footprint warehouse/DC projects.
Location: Yuma, AZ (Travelling position)
Project Type: Light Industrial (Tilt-Up Warehouses & Distribution Centers)
What You'll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day field operations for ground-up tilt-up warehouse and distribution center projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to keep projects on time and on budget
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Partner closely with Project Managers on scheduling, RFIs, and quality control
- Conduct daily site walks, progress reporting, and punch list management
- Manage manpower, material deliveries, and equipment on-site
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
- Proven experience with light industrial, tilt-up construction — warehouses, distribution/fulfillment centers, or similar large-footprint facilities
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
