Superintendent

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience overseeing construction activities and coordinating field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction activities and coordinate work across the job site.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is completed according to project plans and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, materials, and overall site conditions.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth project execution.
• Review plans and specifications and identify potential issues before they affect the project schedule.
• Maintain daily logs, site reports, progress documentation, and other required project records.
• Ensure construction activities comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices throughout the job site.
• Assist in resolving field issues, scheduling conflicts, and construction-related challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and ensure work meets project standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent construction experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a related field.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, plans, and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with construction management software and digital project documentation.
• OSHA certification or relevant safety training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
