Superintendent – High-End Residential Interiors
Location: New York City – Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens
Salary: $130,000–$180,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity
An established New York City general contractor is looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee high-end residential interior projects across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
The work is varied and technically demanding. Projects range from full gut renovations and major apartment transformations to townhouses, brownstones, penthouses and bespoke private residences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Take ownership of day-to-day field operations from demolition through closeout
- Manage complex gut renovations and high-end interior build-outs
- Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades, vendors and deliveries
- Manage sequencing across framing, MEPs, drywall, flooring, millwork, stone, cabinetry and specialist finishes
- Read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings
- Work closely with Project Managers, architects, designers and consultants
- Identify clashes and field issues early and drive practical solutions
- Maintain schedules and keep trades moving efficiently
- Oversee quality control throughout every stage of construction
- Manage NYC site logistics, inspections, safety and building requirements
- Drive punch-list completion and final turnover
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Superintendent within NYC construction
- Strong background in high-end residential interiors and renovations
- Experience delivering full gut renovations is highly desirable
- Comfortable managing projects with significant architectural detail and custom finishes
- Strong understanding of trade sequencing and interior construction
- Experience with custom millwork, stone, cabinetry and high-spec finishes
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades within tight NYC jobsites
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- High standards when it comes to craftsmanship and final finish
The Package
$130,000–$180,000 base salary, dependent on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package and long-term opportunities.
