Superintendent | Local Projects

Flowtec Construction is partnering with an established general contractor in Chicago seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to support its growing portfolio of commercial and industrial construction projects.

With a strong backlog, repeat clients and projects ranging from $10M to $50M , this is an opportunity to join a stable business delivering a varied portfolio of work across the Chicago market. All projects are local to Chicago , meaning you can focus on delivering great projects without spending your weeks travelling or staying away from home.

A portfolio that keeps things interesting

You'll oversee commercial and industrial projects ranging from $10M to $50M , including:

• Commercial construction
• Industrial facilities
• Manufacturing facilities
• Warehousing and distribution
• Ground-up construction

Your role

• Manage all day-to-day field operations from project start through completion and closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and on-site personnel to maintain project schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized jobsite, ensuring all safety standards are followed.
• Work closely with Project Managers to deliver projects within budget, schedule and quality expectations.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and communicate project updates.
• Review construction drawings, RFIs and submittals, proactively resolving field issues.
• Coordinate multiple trades and ensure work is progressing efficiently.
• Take ownership of site safety, quality control and overall project execution.

• $140,000–$170,000 base salary , depending on experience.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience delivering commercial, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse or ground-up construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Experience managing project schedules, site logistics and day-to-day field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and resolve field issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
