About the Opportunity

An established Florida commercial drywall contractor is expanding into South Florida and looking to recruit multiple experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendents to help build its new division between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved at the beginning of an exciting expansion, rather than simply joining another established operation.

The business is looking to build a strong field team in South Florida, creating genuine opportunities for experienced Superintendents to grow alongside the division and play an important role in its development.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for overseeing commercial drywall projects throughout South Florida, managing site operations and leading Foremen and field teams.

As the new division develops, you'll also have the opportunity to help establish working practices, build relationships and contribute to the growth of the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across commercial drywall projects.
• Manage and coordinate Foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Plan manpower, labour allocation and site productivity.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate drywall, metal framing, insulation and ceiling installation.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Work closely with Project Managers and General Contractors.
• Monitor project progress and address issues before they affect programme.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and other trades.
• Help develop and strengthen the field operation as the new division grows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial drywall or interior construction.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, metal framing and commercial interior systems.
• Experience managing Foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Ability to oversee site operations, manpower and project schedules.
• Experience working on commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build relationships with General Contractors and clients.
