Superintendent - Responsibilities
The Superintendent supports the Maintenance Development Lead by overseeing the Maintenance Team and ensuring the property is maintained to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for preserving the overall physical condition and operational integrity of the property.
* Oversee and maintain the physical condition of the entire property
* Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team
* Foster positive relationships with residents, team members, vendors, suppliers, and service professionals
* Diagnose and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including minor and major repairs
* Manage inventory and maintenance supplies
* Implement and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols
Superintendent - Requirements
* Minimum of three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience
* Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
* Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and household appliances
* Willingness to perform hands-on tasks and continue professional development
* Strong communication skills with confidence, positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
