Superintendent - Construction (3rd Shift)

Path Construction is seeking a qualifiedSuperintendent to join our team in the Chicago, IL area. We are a rapidly growing commercial general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL, with additional offices in Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Our projects span across the country.

This role is suited for someone with 5+ years of construction management experience who is comfortable leading field operations across a variety of project types. The Superintendent plays a critical role in managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and at a high level of quality.

We are seeking individuals with strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of construction means and methods across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work is progressing on time
• Oversee site safety and enforce company safety standards and procedures
• Manage quality control and ensure work meets project specifications
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track
• Support project teams with coordination, logistics, and overall execution

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of building and construction management experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant project experience (commercial, healthcare, public, education, multifamily, etc.)
• Estimating experience
• Working knowledge of project management processes and software (Microsoft Office, SAGE 300 CRE)
• OSHA 30 certification
• LEED project experience
• Experience with multi-story construction
