Project Superintendent – Underground Utilities – Charlotte, NC | $105,000–$125,000 + Bonus Pool & Company Vehicle

Allegiance Group are partnering with a growing electrical and underground utility contractor in Charlotte who are looking for an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations across their expanding project portfolio.

The company works across commercial, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure projects, specialising in underground electrical infrastructure, duct banks, manholes, directional drilling, cable pulling and site lighting.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who knows how to run a jobsite, lead crews and subcontractors, and keep projects moving safely and on schedule.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of construction field experience
• Previous experience as a Project Superintendent, General Foreman or experienced Foreman
• Background in underground utilities, underground electrical, civil infrastructure or similar construction
• Experience with duct banks, conduit, manholes, directional drilling or related underground work
• Ability to read construction drawings, understand elevations and coordinate work sequencing
• Experience leading crews and managing subcontractors
• Someone who takes ownership, communicates well and keeps projects moving
• OSHA 30 preferred

What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of day-to-day field operations across underground utility projects
• Lead crews and subcontractors, keeping productivity, safety and quality on track
• Plan manpower, materials and equipment ahead of schedule
• Coordinate work sequencing and daily site activities
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
• Work closely with Project Managers on schedules, progress and site issues
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries and subcontractor activities
• Identify and resolve field issues before they affect the schedule
• Maintain high safety standards and ensure work meets project specifications
