About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Estimator with at least 10 years of direct experience in ground‑up construction and expert knowledge of construction methods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in all phases of supervision, excellent planning, scheduling, and project site logistics management skills, and strong quality and safety program administration.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct day‑to‑day on‑site supervision of field labor force.
- Inspection of contractor or sub‑contractor operations to ensure compliance with contract.
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients.
- Conduct quality inspections.
- Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
- Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short‑term schedules.
- Prepare and submit superintendent’s daily reports.
- Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings.
Required Skills
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Procore.
- Excellent written, oral communication and management skills.
- Strong ability to read drawings and specifications.
- Functions effectively as part of a team.
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Strong decision making/problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Thorough knowledge of subcontractor language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in ground‑up construction.
- OSHA 10 certification (required); OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Mass Supervision License or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
- Safety standards knowledge and enforcement.
