About the Role:
Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbus, OH is looking for a passionate and dedicated Sunday School Teacher to inspire and nurture the faith of our youngest members. Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Sunday School lessons rooted in Biblical teachings - curriculum will be provided
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for children
Incorporate interactive activities, storytelling, and crafts to reinforce scripture and Christian values
Participate in church events, programs, and teacher training as needed
Model Christ-centered behavior and serve as a positive spiritual role model
Requirements:
Christian faith with a commitment to United Methodist values and beliefs
Prior experience in teaching or childcare preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about faith formation
Must pass a background check in accordance with church safety policies
Reliable and punctual with a consistent Sunday availability
