Volunteer with our Summer Youth Program and help make a positive impact in the lives of youth ages 7 to 18 years old! We are seeking caring, dependable, and positive volunteers to assist staff with daily program activities throughout the summer.
Volunteer responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with youth check-in and sign-out
- Helping serve lunches and snacks
- Supporting staff with arts and crafts activities
- Assisting with games, recreation, and group activities
- Helping supervise youth during indoor and outdoor activities
- Encouraging positive behavior and teamwork
- Assisting with organizing supplies and setting up activities
- Supporting educational and enrichment activities
- Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for all youth
Qualifications:
- Must enjoy working with children and teens
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable, respectful, and able to work as part of a team
- Patient, supportive, and encouraging with youth
- Experience working with youth is helpful but not required
